With less than two weeks remaining until the 2025 Golden Guitar Awards, set to take place during the Tamworth Country Music Festival, organizers have unveiled the full lineup of performers and hosts for the highly anticipated event.
Scheduled for 7:30pm on January 25th at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment & Events Centre, the 53rd Golden Guitars promises to be one of the biggest nights of the year for country music fans.
The awards celebrate excellence in country music recording, highlighting the top Australian country artists and songs that have resonated with fans over the past year. It’s clear why this event is one of the most significant in the calendar.
This year’s Golden Guitars will honor “all the colours of country,” showcasing a variety of genres, identities, and musical styles. Max Jackson and James Johnston will host the evening, guiding the event alongside some of the most prominent figures in the Australian country music scene.
Performances will feature country icons and rising stars, including Kasey Chambers, Adam Harvey, John Williamson, Troy Cassar-Daley, Max Jackson, and The Wolfe Brothers. They’ll be joined by artists such as James Johnston, Ashleigh Dallas, Colin Buchanan, Zac & George, Taylor Moss, Raechel Whitchurch, and Wade Forster, who will all bring their acclaimed live shows to the stage.
The awards will also see some of country music’s biggest names competing for top honors, with Chambers, Cassar-Daley, Jackson, The Wolfe Brothers, and Lee Kernaghan & James Johnston all contending for Single of the Year.
Cassar-Daley leads the nominations with six nods, followed by Michael Waugh with five, and Kernaghan, Chambers, Johnston, Colin Buchanan, and Melbourne band Kingswood each with four nominations.
