Classical and Pop Piano Fusion Concert Thursday in Red Bluff

by Madonna

Renowned pianist and composer Mike Strickland, along with his daughter Elizabeth, will perform a unique piano concert this Thursday night at the State Theatre in Red Bluff. Strickland is known for blending motion and texture in his piano performances, treating the instrument like an orchestra. His daughter, Elizabeth, a classical pianist and teacher, often joins him on stage, and together they present their “Classical Meets Pop!” show. This concert will also feature standout choir students from Red Bluff High School, who will join the duo for two Broadway musical numbers.

The Tehama Concert Series is organized by the Tehama County Community Concert Association, a non-profit group that brings live entertainment to the community. Tickets for the series are sold primarily through membership, but single concert tickets are available.
