Ramez Naguib has released a high-energy drum and bass remix of “Tal Abib,” a standout track from Shabjdeed and Al Nather’s second album, Sultan. While the original track has a more subdued feel, Naguib’s remix breathes new life into it, giving the song a livelier and more intense vibe.
In this rework, Naguib downplays Al Nather’s signature overdriven synths and hypnotic arrangements, instead bringing the drums to the forefront. The sharper, more aggressive percussion takes center stage, creating a bold and in-your-face sound. Minor tempo adjustments further enhance the track’s intensity, adding an unpredictable edge to its fast-paced rhythm.
First introduced live at Naguib’s Yemken album launch in May, the remix showcases his subtle but powerful approach to reimagining the track. By seamlessly blending drum and bass elements with the original structure, Naguib adds fresh dynamics to “Tal Abib” while maintaining the song’s core essence.
