Etienne Charles to Perform at the 2025 St. George Jazz Festival

The 9th Annual St. George Jazz Festival will feature world-renowned trumpet player Etienne Charles as the guest artist. Charles will take the stage on February 8, 2025, performing with the Rebel Jazz Band. Additionally, he will offer a free clinic for students and music educators at 1:30 PM on the day of the concert. Tickets will be available on the St. George Jazz Festival website.

Born in Trinidad, Etienne Charles is a celebrated performer, composer, and storyteller who constantly seeks out untold stories and sounds to share through his music. His albums, including Creole Orchestra, have topped the jazz charts, with the album remaining at the forefront of the jazz world throughout the summer of 2024.

On the evening of Friday, February 7, the festival will kick off with a free concert featuring local jazz musicians at 7:30 PM in the Eccles Concert Hall, followed by an open jam session. All musicians are invited to participate.
