Toronto-based jazz guitarist and composer Mike Freedman will be showcasing his talent during a live performance at Pesto’s at the Radisson on January 16. This event is presented by Dorland Music and the Radisson Hotel Sudbury, offering a chance for the audience to join Freedman on “an exciting musical journey.”
With over 30 years of experience, Freedman has built a reputation as a versatile guitarist, excelling across multiple genres including jazz, blues, R&B, pop, Latin, and classical. Known for his lyrical touch and emotional depth, Freedman’s style has made him a sought-after musician for both studio sessions and live performances, according to Dorland Music.
A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Freedman has released five critically acclaimed albums of original music. His latest instrumental jazz album was recognized as one of the top 25 jazz albums of 2021 by Jazz.FM Radio.
Freedman has also performed at renowned events such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Montreal Jazz Festival, the Rochester Jazz Festival, and the TD Jazz Festival, among others.
