The latest addition to the Nord Piano series, the Nord Piano 6, introduces a redesigned panel with LED faders, independent effects units for the piano section, multi-layer synthesizer components, and a high-quality new Triple Sensor keybed. With unmatched flexibility and world-class sound, the Nord Piano 6 portable stage digital piano is officially launched.
The Nord Piano 6 offers remarkable flexibility for both performance and sound creation. The new panel design features dedicated LED faders for both the piano and synthesizer sections. The dual piano units and synthesizer engine allow for layering or splitting across the keyboard, with each layer featuring its own dedicated effects section.
The Nord Piano 6 includes a wide range of piano sounds, including grand pianos, upright pianos, and electric pianos from Nord’s exclusive piano library. New features like dynamic compression and Unison bring further depth to these sounds. Advanced sampling technology captures the intricate nuances and authentic character of the source instruments.
The newly released Nord Triple Pedal 2, which features a three-in-one design, enables unique “advanced string resonance” and dynamic pedal noise functions, delivering exceptional realism and expressiveness.
The sampling synthesizer unit offers two independent layers, accompanied by a collection of newly designed presets. These presets span a wide range of sounds, from strings and woodwinds to brass, bass, guitar, classic analog tones, and pads, presenting the Nord Piano 6 with a fresh, feature-packed sound palette.
The Nord Piano 6 also offers easy sample and sound exchange flexibility via the Nord Sound Manager. Users can choose from the ever-expanding Nord sound library or use the Nord Sample Editor to merge their own sounds.
The Nord Piano 6 is available in two fully-weighted versions: 88 keys and 73 keys, both of which come with the Nord Triple Pedal 2. The 88-key version weighs 19.2kg (1282 mm x 121 mm x 349 mm), while the 73-key version weighs 16.2kg (1069 mm x 121 mm x 349 mm).
