Ben Folds will take the stage in New York this summer as part of his “Ben Folds & A Piano Tour.” According to Syracuse.com, the celebrated singer-songwriter is scheduled to perform at the Capitol Theatre in Rome, NY, on June 18, with Lindsey Kraft opening the show at 7 pm.
Tickets for the performance are now available, starting at $50, with $1 from each ticket sale going to Folds’ charity, Keys For Kids.
The Capitol Theatre show is one of only two stops in New York on this tour. Folds will also perform at the Tarrytown Music Hall on June 20.
At 58, Folds continues to be a significant figure in piano rock, known for his work with Ben Folds Five and his solo career. Some of his popular songs include “Brick,” “Army,” “The Luckiest,” and “Rockin’ the Suburbs.” Throughout his career, he has worked with artists like “Weird Al” Yankovic, Regina Spektor, and William Shatner. Additionally, he was a judge on NBC’s The Sing-Off from 2009 to 2013.
Folds’ 2025 tour will feature a mix of solo performances, symphonic collaborations, and his signature Paper Airplane Request Tour. According to his official tour page, the tour will span several US cities, providing fans the chance to experience his music in various settings.
