Fracture Sounds has released a new free virtual instrument for Native Instruments’ Kontakt Player, titled Blueprint Textural Pianos. This new addition features processed acoustic and electric piano sounds, offering a fresh and inspiring resource for music creators.
While Kontakt 8 users enjoy access to a vast selection of third-party sound libraries, free content is often limited—especially for those using the Kontakt Player version. Addressing this gap, Fracture Sounds has introduced a high-quality, no-cost solution that is fully compatible with Kontakt Player.
Blueprint Textural Pianos includes 20 pre-mapped performances from both acoustic and electric pianos, all processed to provide a diverse sonic palette. The library is compact in size, with a 2.35GB download (compressed from an original 5GB sample pool), making it accessible without requiring excessive storage space.
The instrument is powered by a three-layer engine that allows users to select from any of the 20 performances for each layer, resulting in over 1,000 possible sound combinations. A shuffle button further enhances creative exploration by generating random layer blends.
Additional sound-shaping tools are included, such as a customizable attack-release envelope, dedicated highpass and lowpass filters, and built-in effects like delay and reverb with various selectable types. These features allow users to sculpt sounds to match a wide range of musical moods and settings.
Fracture Sounds also provides eight factory presets crafted by professional sound designers, offering immediate inspiration and quick access to versatile tones. The instrument supports NKS (Native Kontrol Standard), enabling integration with Native Instruments Kontrol hardware for seamless browsing and real-time control.
Designed to deliver both classical and contemporary processed textures, Blueprint Textural Pianos stands out as a beautiful and functional piano library for Kontakt 8 users. It is currently available as a free download and runs on both the full Kontakt 8 and the free Kontakt 8 Player.
In celebration of Piano Day, Fracture Sounds is also offering discounts of up to 45% on exclusive bundles until April 15th, 2025.
