Many children are introduced to The Beatles’ music through their parents, and now the iconic band is helping those kids learn to play their songs as well.
Loog, a children’s guitar brand, has announced a new collaboration with Apple Corps Ltd. to release The Beatles + Loog Collection. This collection features nine new kid-sized, Beatles-inspired three-string guitars, including six acoustic and three electric models.
The acoustic guitars, designed for children ages 3 and up, each represent a different era of The Beatles’ career, such as 1967, the Revolver era, and the “Yellow Submarine” period. The electric guitars, available in black, blue, and white, are recommended for children 6 and older.
“I created Loog not just to help kids learn guitar, but to spark their curiosity about music. I can’t think of a better way to start their musical journey than with John, Paul, George, and Ringo,” says Rafael Atijas, founder and CEO of Loog. “I’m incredibly excited and honored to partner with The Beatles in our mission to get kids learning, playing, and falling in love with music.”
Each Beatles-themed guitar includes a Beatles strap, picks, pins, and stickers featuring the band. Additionally, an activity book filled with Beatles games and trivia is included, and every guitar comes with access to a special Beatles section within the Loog app.
The Beatles + Loog Collection is now available for preorder, with instruments scheduled to ship in October.
