Concours Musical International de Montréal Announces 2025 Voice Jury Members

Since its inception in 2001, the Concours Musical International de Montréal (CMIM) has been a premier platform for emerging talent in voice, violin, and piano, rotating these categories on a three-year cycle.

The 2025 CMIM Voice Competition will take place from May 25 to June 6, 2025. It is open to classical vocalists of all nationalities born between 1992 and 2005 who are beginning their professional careers.

Adrianne Pieczonka, the acclaimed Canadian soprano, will chair the international jury for the 2025 Voice competition. The jury will include notable figures such as Harolyn Blackwell, Iain Burnside, Etienne Dupuis, Anthony Freud, Susan Graham, Roberto Mauro, and Christina Scheppelmann.

Competitors will have the chance to perform with CMIM’s official orchestra, the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal (OSM), at the Maison symphonique de Montréal. The semifinals will be held on June 3 and 4, 2025, with the finals scheduled for June 6, 2025.

The competition will award over $150,000 CAD in prizes and grants, including a top prize of more than $70,000, a second prize of $25,000, and a third prize of $20,000, along with several special awards.
