Jack White’s Fender Signature Collection Redefines Guitar and Amp Design

by Madonna

Fender has teamed up with Jack White to launch a groundbreaking line of signature guitar products, including a more accessible version of his unique TripleCaster Telecaster. This collaboration introduces several new items, including White’s signature Pano Verb guitar amp and the TripleSonic Acoustasonic Telecaster.

This release marks a notable move by Fender and the White Stripes frontman, as Fender has chosen to unveil the entire range of new White signature products simultaneously, rather than gradually over time.

Among the trio of new products, the TripleCaster is the standout. This model is inspired by White’s custom Low Rider Telecaster, one of the most distinctive Telecasters ever made. Guitar World’s Michael Astley-Brown highlighted its features at NAMM, showcasing its unconventional specs such as a B-Bender, D-Tuna, custom pickups, a half-scalloped fretboard, and various electronic enhancements.

While the signature model cannot replicate the Low Rider exactly due to cost and complexity, the TripleCaster does capture its essence. It features a Piano Black finish, a Jack White humbucker, JW-90 single-coil pickup, White-voiced CuNiFe Wide-Range humbucker, Bigsby vibrato, Hipshot Xtender DropTuner, and a kill switch.

This model suggests that future releases could include other custom Fenders from White’s collection, like his pitch-shifting Jazzmaster.

The TripleSonic Acoustasonic, available in Satin Black and Arctic White, brings its own innovations. It includes a Soft V neck shape, a uniquely designed pickguard, and pickup voicings selected by White. This model draws inspiration from White’s black burst Acoustasonic, which he has used in performances, including a 2022 show in Paris.

Completing the collection is the Pano Verb amp, a fusion of White’s Vintage Vibrasonic and Vibroverb amps. It features enhanced stereo reverb and tremolo effects and a distinctive 15” / 10” speaker configuration. After four years of development, White describes the Pano Verb as his vision of “the ultimate amplifier,” promising to be a unique addition to Fender’s lineup.

The products come with a premium price tag: the Pano Verb and TripleCaster each cost $2,999, while the TripleSonic is priced at $2,499.

Jack White remarks, “We combined the best elements of both old and new, blending innovation with Fender’s rich history to create something that perhaps even Leo Fender would be proud of.”

Fender’s Justin Norvell adds, “Jack is a true visionary in the music world. Working with him has been an incredible journey, and this collection captures what makes Jack White an icon. We are excited to bring his vision to fans and musicians everywhere.”

This marks Jack White’s first official release with Fender, though he has previously collaborated with Third Man Hardware, Donner for the Triple Threat, and Anasounds for his ideal spring reverb pedal.
