Rising country star Brad Cox has signed a record deal with Warner Music Australia, marking a new chapter in his career.
The announcement, made on Wednesday, Sept. 25, coincides with the release of his latest single, “Everything I’ve Got,” a teaser for his upcoming tour, the “Everything I Got” trek, which kicks off next month.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Brad Cox to the Warner Music family and are honored that he has entrusted us with this next phase of his career,” said Dan Rosen, president of Warner Music Australasia. “Brad’s authenticity, strong work ethic, and remarkable talent have already won over fans across Australia, and we’re excited to help bring his music to more listeners both here and around the globe.”
Hailing from Jindabyne in NSW’s Snowy Mountains, Cox first made waves in 2018 with his self-titled debut album, which featured singles like “Red Light,” “Too Drunk to Drive,” “Lake House,” and “Water On The Ground.” He later won the Toyota Star Maker competition at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, further cementing his place in the country music scene.
Under a previous deal with Sony Music, Cox released My Mind’s Projection in 2020, which debuted at No. 13 on the ARIA Chart. His talent gained international attention in 2021 when he launched the “Happy Hour Down Under” station on Apple Music.
Cox’s career trajectory continued upward with the release of his third album, Acres, in 2023, which broke into the ARIA Top 10, peaking at No. 7.
“Signing this record deal with Warner Music feels like coming home,” Cox shared. “The more I work with this incredible team, the more things keep getting better. I feel understood in my vision for this project and supported in making my dreams a reality. I’m grateful for the belief they’ve shown in me and proud to be here for this next chapter.”
Cox’s “Everything I’ve Got” tour kicks off on Oct. 17 at the University of Canberra, with stops in Sydney, Wollongong, Melbourne, Rockhampton, and Brisbane.
The 2024 tour is presented by Handsome Tours, Lonely Lands Agency, Mirror Music Group, Habit Music, and transported by Mack & Highway Rentals Australia.
