Guitarist Doug Aldrich Diagnosed with Treatable Throat Cancer, Undergoing Surgery

Sad news for fans of The Dead Daisies as guitarist Doug Aldrich, 61, has been diagnosed with treatable throat cancer and will undergo surgery this week. In his absence, Reb Beach, who previously played alongside Aldrich in Whitesnake from 2003 to 2014, will step in for the upcoming European dates.

Unfortunately, Doug has been diagnosed with treatable throat cancer and must undergo surgery this week. Moving forward, he will not be available for the next run, and long-time good friend and bandmate from the Whitesnake days, Reb Beach, will fill in for the upcoming European dates. Please join us in wishing Doug all the best for a speedy recovery. 😘😘
