The nominees for the 2024 Music+Sound Awards have been revealed, marking the 13th year of this prestigious event. The awards celebrate the vital contributions of composers, sound designers, music supervisors, and sync teams, whose expertise significantly enhances storytelling across film, television, advertising, and gaming.
Emma Maguire, Director of The Music+Sound Awards, commented, “This year’s finalists have truly raised the bar. The talent and creativity showcased are exceptional. The judging panel for this year included notable figures such as James Harrison, Supervising Sound Editor for Napoleon and No Time To Die; Steve “Major” Giammaria from Sound Lounge, New York; composer Brendan Angelides, known for Billions and Assassin’s Creed Mirage; and Stephanie Economou, who scored About My Father starring Robert De Niro. Other judges included Graham Donnelly from Sweet Justice Sound in London and Alexandra Patsavas from Netflix.
Winners of the 2024 Music+Sound Awards will be announced on Thursday, October 10th, at 4 PM (GMT), via The Music+Sound Awards’ X and Instagram accounts, the awards website, and media partner channels.
