South African-born, UK-based blues-rock guitarist Ross Harding has announced the first chapter of his highly anticipated The Blood & The Blues UK tour for 2024 and 2025. This tour will showcase Harding’s darker, bluesy rock and roll sound across stages throughout the UK, promising a unique and immersive live experience.
Renowned for his electrifying performances and musical versatility, no two Ross Harding shows are ever the same. Audiences will have the chance to enjoy Harding in three distinct formats: Solo Acoustic, Acoustic “Unplugged Band,” and Electric Band. Similar to John Mayer’s acclaimed Where the Light Is: Live in Los Angeles, these performances will highlight Harding’s exceptional songwriting, guitar prowess, and engaging stage presence.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be starting my first official UK tour since moving here in March 2024,” said Ross Harding. “The UK has been incredibly welcoming so far, and I’m excited to share my darker bluesy rock and roll sound with audiences all over the country.”
Ross Harding Live Formats:
Solo Acoustic: This intimate setting offers an atmospheric blues-rock experience, featuring mesmerizing original songs and unique interpretations of influential covers. Utilizing alternate guitar tunings, slide guitar, effects pedals, and a looper, Harding breathes new life into traditional solo acoustic performances.
Acoustic “Unplugged” Band: In this format, Harding performs with a full band, presenting reimagined versions of his original music alongside select cover songs. Fans of MTV’s Unplugged will appreciate this emotive and intimate setup.
Electric Band: For high-energy rock and roll enthusiasts, Harding’s full electric band performance delivers powerful blues-infused rock, interspersed with slow, emotive blues mastery. The raw energy and expert musicianship create an unforgettable rock experience.
The Blood & The Blues UK Tour will kick off on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, with a solo acoustic performance supporting British blues-rocker Jack J Hutchinson at The Black Heart in Camden, London. Following this, Harding will take the stage with his electric band and unplugged band formats at venues across the country, including The Holyroyd Arms in Guildford, The Acoustic Couch in Bracknell, and The Old Brewery Store in Faversham.
