Gary Clark Jr. is set to head to Australia in 2025, where he will perform at the final Bluesfest Byron Bay and embark on his own series of headline shows.
Kicking off his first Australian tour in six years, Clark Jr. will take the stage at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Monday, April 14. His tour will continue with performances at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Tuesday, April 15, and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Thursday, April 17. The Grammy Award-winning artist, known for his acclaimed album This Land, will then wrap up his tour at Bluesfest on Friday, April 18.
Tickets for all three shows will be available for purchase starting this Friday, October 25, at 11:30 AM local time via Live Nation. For fans eager to secure their spots, several pre-sale options are also available.
The Mastercard pre-sale begins tomorrow, Wednesday, October 23, at 10:30 AM local time and runs until Friday, October 25, at 10:30 AM local time. Additionally, My Live Nation members can access pre-sale tickets from 10:30 AM local time on Thursday, October 24, until 10:30 AM local time on Friday, October 25.
Gary Clark Jr. has been making music since the mid-1990s, starting with several independent albums in the early 2000s. His career took off after collaborating with Alicia Keys on her 2012 album, Girl on Fire. Later that year, he released his major label debut, Blak and Blu, which peaked at #6 on the Billboard Album Chart.
Since then, it has been a journey of success and creativity for Clark Jr., who has released three additional studio albums: The Story of Sonny Boy Slim (2015), The Land (2019), and JPEG Raw (2024), along with various acclaimed live recordings. He has also collaborated with notable artists such as Slash, Foo Fighters, and Tom Morello.
