On December 5, the Mount Elizabeth Theatre will host an unforgettable concert by Ô-Celli, an ensemble of eight cellists renowned for their ability to seamlessly blend diverse musical styles. Presented by the Kitimat Concert Association, the performance promises to offer an evening of intricate melodies and powerful soundscapes.
The group, known for their passion for the cello, enthusiastically declares, “What can sound better than a cello? Eight cellos!” Their performance will highlight the instrument’s rich, resonant tones, creating a unique musical experience for the audience. The program will include works by iconic composers such as Tchaikovsky, Strauss, Piazzolla, and Nino Rota.
Ô-Celli, a collective born from a shared love of the cello, is celebrated for both original compositions and innovative arrangements.
