Baroness wrapped up their European tour with a final performance in Nottingham, UK, last night, capping off a year of successful headline shows. However, the celebration took a disappointing turn when guitarist Gina Gleason’s beloved White and Tortoise Shell Fender guitar was stolen by fans at the end of the show.
As a birthday gesture, Gleason passed the guitar into the crowd, inviting fans to pass it around as part of the show’s finale. Unfortunately, amid the excitement, someone grabbed the guitar and ran off with it.
In a now-deleted social media post, the band expressed their frustration and sorrow over the theft, pleading for the safe return of the guitar—no questions asked. Baroness is set to fly back to the United States tomorrow, and while the guitar may have already been returned, they are asking anyone with information about its whereabouts to come forward.
The band is still on the road promoting their latest album, Stone, and continues to inspire fans with their powerful live performances.
