Paul Sylvester Morton Jr., better known as PJ Morton, is returning to Indonesia to perform in a show titled “PJ Morton An Intimate Piano Show,” set to take place at Soehanna Hall, Jakarta, on January 31.
As the event’s name suggests, the Grammy-winning music producer will perform a piano-centric show, offering an intimate experience. Java Festival Production, the event’s organizer, stated that the concert will feature Morton playing the piano in a personal and close setting.
“Prepare yourself for an evening filled with stories expressed through beautiful music. On January 31, PJ Morton, a multi-Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and producer, will perform in an intimate piano concert in Jakarta,” the organizer shared via an Instagram post on Wednesday, January 15.
The event will have a very limited number of seats available for the audience. This concert is designed to provide a personal experience for his fans.
“This is a rare chance to experience his music in such a personal way. Seats are extremely limited.”
For this performance, the organizer is offering two ticket categories: SILVER tickets for IDR 750,000 and GOLD tickets for IDR 850,000. All tickets are for designated seating areas.

For your information, PJ Morton was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, on March 29, 1981.
Morton has made his mark in various roles, from musician and singer to songwriter and record producer. He has been the keyboardist for Maroon 5 since 2012 after initially joining their tour in 2010.
In March 2012, Morton released his debut solo EP, “Following My First Mind,” through Young Money label, featuring the lead single “Heavy,” which featured Adam Levine and James Valentine.
He later launched his album “New Orleans” in May 2013. Since then, he has released several albums, including “Gumbo” (2017), which earned two Grammy nominations for Best R&B Album and Best R&B Song.
In 2024, Morton released “Cape Town to Cairo,” an album recorded during a 30-day journey across Africa, covering countries like South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, and Egypt. The album blends genres like pop, gospel, jazz, R&B, and soul.
Morton is also the founder and CEO of Morton Records. He has won multiple Grammy Awards and continues to make significant contributions to the music industry with his innovative and collaborative work.
