Stonedef Records proudly announces the release of Horizon, a new album by Billboard hit artist, composer, and singer-songwriter Fawn. Renowned for her versatility in television, film, commercials, pop, and dance music, as well as her work in voiceovers, Fawn’s latest album marks her second piano-based collection of original compositions.
The ten-track album Horizon highlights Fawn’s exceptional ability to create deeply emotional piano-driven scores. This release follows her debut piano-centered album Remnants, which was widely praised as a beloved choice for background music and soundtracks.
Horizon continues that legacy with a collection of intense and fresh introspective pieces, professionally orchestrated by Cameron Lasswell.
Known also as ‘songirl,’ Fawn shares her thoughts on the album’s creation: “While I’m more recognized for my pop songs and dance hits, my heart has always driven me to explore various musical genres. I enjoy creating piano pieces that come from my soul, and Horizon is deeply personal, reflecting the heart-wrenching experiences I’ve gone through in recent years.” She further explains, “I wrote some of the pieces on my Yamaha baby grand piano and others on my childhood Sohmer upright piano. This album expresses a wide range of emotions—devastation, loss, grief, gratitude, entrapment, freedom, and even praises of God. The lush orchestrations by producer Cameron Lasswell add incredible depth, expression, and richness to each track. I’m honored to collaborate with him again.”
Reflecting on the album’s title, Fawn explains, “The horizon is the line that separates the earth from the three heavens. It symbolizes unexplored realms and possibilities, calling our spirits home. I felt this was the perfect description for this album.”
Horizon stands as a testament to Fawn’s enduring talent and emotional depth, offering listeners a captivating journey through her musical landscape.
Horizon will be available for pre-order on January 22, 2025, and officially released on February 16, 2025, on Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, and all major platforms via Stonedef Records.
