At this stage of my life, it’s a time to reflect, but also to look forward to new adventures. And believe me, many more are coming! The difference now is that I have the wisdom of 70 years to guide me through these new experiences.

Looking back, I’ve witnessed enormous changes. For instance, when I was born in 1955, there were only 48 states in the U.S. By the time I was 4 in 1959, Hawaii and Alaska were added. The global population was 2.8 billion, and now it’s over 8 billion. I saw John F. Kennedy’s assassination, watched The Beatles perform on the Ed Sullivan Show, and witnessed the entire Vietnam War—almost being drafted myself. I also saw Martin Luther King and Robert F. Kennedy’s tragic assassinations, the rise of the Women’s Liberation Movement, and the Flower Children era. I was there for Andy Warhol’s pop culture explosion, Allen Ginsberg’s Beat Generation, and performances by Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, and many others. From then to today, the changes in technology, IT, and AI are mind-blowing!

I feel incredibly fortunate to have lived through such a unique period in history. There has never been another era like it, and there never will be. I’m eager to see what the future holds. We’re all part of living history, and I’m excited to share my experiences in my upcoming book, Confessions Of A Rock Guitarist (coming in May). In it, I reflect on these events and how they influenced my life, both personally and musically.

Right now, I feel incredibly content. I have the love of my life, Suzanne, by my side, a wonderful family and friends, my health, wisdom, music, cherished memories, and of course, my guitar. Let’s see what magic unfolds next!

In honor of my milestone birthday, I’ve decided to get my first tattoo. It’ll be my name and address, just in case anyone finds me wandering around—so they’ll know who I am and where to take me! LOL! Just kidding… (well, kinda).

Love and peace to you all! Cheers!”

Details about the book will be shared as they become available.
