The Drum Center of Portsmouth holds the title of the world’s largest independently owned drum store. Nestled in two historic barns in North Hampton, New Hampshire, the store offers an impressive selection of 750 snare drums, 3,000 cymbals, and 150 drum kits, covering both traditional and electronic options.
In 2024, Music Inc. Magazine honored the Drum Center with the Music Retailer of the Year award. Owner Shane Kinney and his team—composed of skilled drummers—proudly cater to professionals, beginners, and even former drummers looking to rekindle their passion.
