The Raven Drum Foundation, the charitable organization co-founded by Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen and his wife, singer/songwriter Lauren Monroe, will host its second annual benefit concert on April 25 at The Cutting Room in New York City. The star-studded event will feature performances from various artists and the presentation of the charity’s prestigious Legacy Award to KISS founding drummer Peter Criss.
Allen and Monroe will take the stage at the benefit alongside a lineup of notable musicians. The event will also include performances from former Blue Öyster Cult members Joe Bouchard and Albert Bouchard, longtime Bryan Adams drummer Mickey Curry, Mountain’s Corky Laing, legendary R&B/funk drummer Bernard Purdie, ex-Joan Jett & the Blackhearts guitarist Ricky Byrd, and longtime Todd Rundgren bassist Kasim Sulton. The concert will also feature several surprise special guests.
Tickets for the benefit concert are now available for purchase at $100 in advance, with a $150 price at the door. VIP packages are also offered. For more details, visit RavenDrumFoundation.org.
The Raven Drum Foundation is dedicated to supporting first responders and veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress. The foundation organizes workshops that incorporate drumming and other physical and mental wellness techniques to promote healing.
Rick Allen shared a statement ahead of the benefit event: “New York is like a second home to me, and I feel it’s important to advocate for the well-being of our first responders,” he said. “They endure constant trauma to protect us. When I faced the worst day of my life, they were there. If it weren’t for them, I certainly wouldn’t be here.”
In January, Def Leppard released a cover of Ben E. King’s classic “Stand by Me” as a charity single. Proceeds from the track benefited the FireAid initiative, which helps those affected by the wildfires in Southern California. The band’s version of the song was also featured in the 2025 Netflix film Bank of Dave 2: The Loan Ranger. Additionally, Def Leppard auctioned signed guitars to raise money for Los Angeles-area firefighters.
Def Leppard’s 2025 North American tour includes 19 concert dates, starting with a performance on May 15 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and wrapping up on August 29 in Hollywood, Florida. The band also has several festival appearances lined up in both the U.S. and Canada.
