Two internationally acclaimed Italian concert pianists are bringing their exceptional multimedia classical music program to NoHo!
On Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 4:00 PM, the Ammara•Prosseda Piano Duo will present an unforgettable evening of classical music in the NoHo Arts District. The performance promises to be a mesmerizing experience as these world-renowned musicians take the stage.
The duo will perform a breathtaking display of four hands playing in perfect harmony on one grand piano. Alessandra Ammara and her husband, Roberto Prosseda, are both accomplished maestros in their own right, and together, they will deliver an afternoon filled with musical brilliance.
The Ammara•Prosseda Piano Duo will present their remarkable program, “A Midsummer Night Dream.” The performance opens with dreamy piano solos, featuring beloved pieces such as Claude Debussy’s Clair de Lune, Suite Bergamasque, and Prélude No. 11 “La Danse de Puck”, as well as Luca Lombardi’s Mendelssohn im Jüdischen Museum Berlin. The program culminates with a stunning duo piano arrangement of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy’s A Midsummer Night Dream op. 61.
The performance will be enhanced by immersive imagery and lighting, thoughtfully curated by the artists to reflect their artistic interpretation of each piece.
