Celebrated drummer Graham Hopkins, known for his work with Glen Hansard and Therapy?, is kicking off his ‘Drum Hang’ tour, where he will offer fans a chance to hear stories, share insights, and provide tips from his extensive music career. These intimate events will take place in coffee shops across Ireland.
The first stop will be at Alchemy Coffee in Cork City, tonight, Wednesday, March 19. Hopkins described the event on Instagram, saying, “If you’ve been to any of my previous drum hangs, you’ll know this is not your usual drum clinic. It’s an informal evening to talk all things drums – from gear to gigging and recording, with a bit of playing mixed in.”
Audience interaction is encouraged, and he invites attendees to ask questions, fostering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
