Herb Alpert, the legendary trumpeter, composer, and co-founder of A&M Records, is bringing his iconic sound back to the stage for an unforgettable performance with his newly formed Tijuana Brass at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.
The show will take place on August 1, but Tobin Center members can access tickets during the pre-sale, which is already underway. Tickets will become available to the general public starting March 21.
Accompanied by his talented six-piece band, Herb will perform all your favorite classic hits, just as you remember them from years past.
2025 will mark the 60th anniversary of the beloved album Whipped Cream & Other Delights, and Herb and his band will perform many of its iconic songs, along with other timeless hits. The 90-minute show is laid-back and informal, as Herb enjoys engaging with the audience and answering questions about his illustrious career, A&M Records, and his collaborations with iconic artists like Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66, The Carpenters, and Burt Bacharach, among others. A massive video screen will accompany the performance, showcasing a collection of classic photos, videos, artwork, and memorabilia from Herb’s extraordinary music journey.
