Australian guitarist, singer, and songwriter Orianthi, known for her collaborations with icons like Alice Cooper, Carrie Underwood, and Michael Jackson, is giving fans a sneak peek into her upcoming album as she wraps up recording sessions.
Orianthi, who has had a successful solo career since releasing her debut album Believe in 2009, dropped her latest album Rock Candy in 2022. Now, she’s back in the studio, and fans are eagerly awaiting what she has in store next.
Earlier this week, the talented guitarist took to Instagram, sharing videos from her recording sessions. “Wild in here,” she captioned the clips, adding fire and music emojis, and expressed her excitement, saying she “can’t wait” for everyone to hear the new music. Fans responded enthusiastically, flooding her post with heart and clapping emojis.
On March 26, Orianthi shared a photo of herself holding a Flying V guitar, teasing the release of her upcoming album. “New album out very soon .. head over to orianthi.me for tickets to upcoming shows and yes I’ll be in Europe soon,” she announced. Her post generated a lot of buzz, with one fan commenting, “That guitar looks like the one belonging to Jimi Hendrix,” while another expressed excitement with, “Can’t wait.”
In a 2024 interview, Orianthi opened up about her songwriting process, revealing how her personal experiences shape her music. “I’ve been through a lot of hard times, and I’ve been through a lot of great times, and I’ve learned from the hard times,” she explained. “Although it’s the same pain from the first time you get your heart broken to every time you get your heart broken you know, so that’s why I think the blues resonates with a lot of people.”
She added, “With my tunes and lyrics, it’s about acknowledging, hey, I’ve been through this, but I’ve come to the other side… it’s not victim blues or anything, you know, it’s like just stating what you went through but with strength.”
Fans are excited for what Orianthi has in store with her new music, and it looks like the wait will be worth it.
