Excite Audio has introduced a new percussion instrument plugin, Bloom Drum Percussion, designed specifically for Latin and African traditional percussion sounds.
Bloom Drum Percussion combines the vibrant rhythms of Brazilian Samba with the deep resonances of West African drumming, injecting lively world music elements into modern music production. The plugin’s sound design focuses on capturing the dynamic details of the original instruments, from the resonating body vibrations of the Djembe to the transient elasticity of the Bongo drum’s leather skin, and even the subtle finger pressure changes during traditional Tantan drumming.
After professional processing, the samples are integrated into an intuitive sequencer system, allowing users to create personalized sounds with ease. The intelligent macro control function lets users adjust parameters such as Lo-Fi texture, distortion, and Slap delay, allowing for quick and effective sound shaping.
Bloom Drum Percussion goes beyond traditional preset libraries by allowing users to import their own samples for further creative exploration. The plugin includes 250 professional presets, offering both standard rhythms based on traditional playing techniques and modern electronic sounds, making it especially suited for adding rhythmic elements to genres like pop, electronic, and hip hop.
