After a period of turmoil, death metal band Vitriol has announced the addition of Keith Merrow as their new co-guitarist. This comes after vocalist and guitarist Kyle Rasmussen admitted he could be “a difficult person to work with.” The move follows the departure of founding member Adam Roethlisberger, who left the band mid-tour last September, citing ongoing interpersonal pressures within the group.
Merrow, known for his work with Merrow, Nightmarer, Conquering Dystopia, Demisery, and Alluvial, expressed that his new role in Vitriol has reignited his passion for guitar and extreme music. He is now stepping up to the challenge as the band embarks on their upcoming tour in Eastern Europe.
The tour, which will see Vitriol supporting 1349 alongside Sarcator and The Ruins of Beverest, kicks off on May 8th in Krakow, Poland.
