Travis Barker of blink-182 is set to offer fans an exclusive chance to own a piece of his musical history with a special sale of drum kits and memorabilia on Reverb. The sale is set to launch on April 16, and will feature a selection of four iconic drum kits from his career.
Included in the collection are:
A DW drum kit that Barker used during blink-182’s “One More Time” tour last summer.
An Orange County Drum and Percussion Kit, complete with a rototom, which Barker used extensively in his work with The Transplants. As Barker explains, “It has grip tape on the bass drum because on those tours, a lot of times Skinhead Rob and Tim Armstrong would jump on my bass drum and go flying or slip.”
An Orange County Drum and Percussion Kit that featured prominently during blink-182’s Neighborhoods era.
A Roland V-Drum.
In addition to the drum kits, Barker will also be listing various other memorabilia, including skate decks, long boards, bomber jackets, framed tour artwork, and more. Further details on these items are yet to be revealed, but fans can already check out images of the drum kits and watch a preview video.
As blink-182 prepares for a summer tour with Alkaline Trio, along with several festival appearances, this sale offers a rare opportunity to get closer to the band’s storied history.
