GRAMMY Award-nominated guitarist, songwriter, and producer Ottmar Liebert, along with his band Luna Negra, will return to Las Vegas for an unforgettable performance at The Railhead at Boulder Station on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 8 p.m. Tickets will be available starting at $32.50 plus applicable fees, and they go on sale Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10 a.m.
Ottmar Liebert’s global success stems from his creativity, determination, and unique sense of melody. Born in Cologne, Germany, he began playing guitar at age 11. Initially, he intended to stay in Germany and pursue a career in design and photography. However, after traveling through Asia and collaborating with local musicians, he realized music was his true calling. Liebert’s journey led him to Boston, where he pursued his passion for rock music before eventually settling in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Santa Fe provided a fresh start for Liebert, allowing him to return to the acoustic guitar while staying open to the influences of the local culture, which helped shape his musical style. His music blends Spanish, Mexican, and World elements, combining strong melodies with a sense of melancholy, balanced by upbeat rhythms.
Over the years, Liebert has become one of the most successful instrumental artists, releasing 33 classic albums that include live recordings, an orchestral album for Sony Classical, binaural surround sound recordings, remix albums, a lullaby album, and even a flamenco-reggae album. He has performed at more than two thousand concerts worldwide. Ottmar Liebert and Luna Negra have previously performed with the New Mexico Philharmonic, where their concerts broke attendance records. Throughout his career, Liebert has earned five Grammy nominations.
