This new tool blends the realism of electric guitar performances with cutting-edge sound design capabilities, allowing producers, composers, and sound designers to create anything from subtle guitar phrases to expansive sonic landscapes with ease.
Cinedream merges the authentic performance quality and playability of UJAM’s Virtual Guitarist line with the orchestral sophistication found in its Symphonic Elements series. The design is inspired by the iconic soundtracks and immersive soundscapes of Oscar-winning composer and UJAM co-founder Hans Zimmer. In Player Mode, users can hold down a single key or chord to trigger slowly evolving cinematic guitar phrases, making it easy to produce ambient textures and dynamic soundscapes with minimal input. Instrument Mode offers manual control for playing individual notes or crafting custom phrases, ideal for detailed editing, melodic development, and layering.
The plugin also provides advanced control over tone shaping and dynamics, allowing users to mold each note’s behavior with fade-ins, stretching, or sharp attacks — from gentle swells to rhythmic pulses and intense accents. Additionally, it comes equipped with a Stomp Box and Finisher FX unit, both powerful multi-effects processors capable of transforming raw guitar phrases into deep, cinematic textures. Users can choose from 30 different ambient guitar styles, ranging from random fingerpicking to overdriven rhythms, all designed to suit the unique demands of cinematic scoring.
Cinedream is available for both Windows and Mac systems (including Apple Silicon compatibility) and supports VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats. The introductory price is set at $39 USD (regular price $49 USD), while existing UJAM product users can purchase it at a discounted rate of $29 USD.
