Savannah Arts Academy is set to host three piano recitals featuring performances by its 9th to 11th grade students. The recitals, scheduled for this week and next, are free of charge and open to the public.
The student musicians will present a diverse selection of pieces, spanning both classical and contemporary genres. Composers such as Bach, Chopin, and Gershwin will be represented, highlighting the technical and artistic range of the young performers.
The first recital will take place on Wednesday, April 23, at the Savannah Arts Academy Performance Hall, located at 500 Washington Avenue. The second is set for Friday, April 25, at First Baptist Church, 223 Bull Street. The final performance will be held on Monday, April 28, at First Presbyterian Church, 420 Washington Avenue. Each event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
